Description

Tarrazú Reserva Especial is a coffee of unique quality and characteristics. Sourced from Costa Rica's premier coffee region, Tarrazú, this coffee is grown and micro-milled at its origin by the farmer in order to guarantee the purity of its special qualities. The plantation's elevation of approximately 6,000 feet above sea level produces SHB (Strictly Hard Bean).

Tasting Notes: An elegant coffee with a mild acidity and sweet notes of caramel and citrus.

Awards: 2nd Place Grower Cup of Excellence 2012, 3rd Place Grower Cup of Excellence 2015

Origin: Tarrazú

Roast: Full City Roast (Medium-Dark)

    Favorite Coffee in the World!

    I visited Costa Rica from the US (the first time) in 2010. After trying so many amazing coffees from an equally amazing country, I found Tarrazu from Cafe Milagro to be my favorite. Very well balanced and smooth - always a crowd pleaser at my house!

    So much flavor, my personal favorite, although I also order the Organic and House Blend as I like the variety to mix it up. All Cafe Milagro products are high quality and always exceeds my expectations. I have been a customer for almost 20 years and am so lucky to have found them.

    We visited Costa Rica 8 years ago. We had dinner a few times at Cafe Milagro. We loved the coffee. We saw them roasting the beans in Quepos. Now we have it year round back in the states. It’s the best coffee in the world! Order yourself 12 bags. You’ll likely order more as you’ll shed tears when the last couple bags are all that’s left. Enjoy!!

    It’s a sad day when the last bag-o-Tarrazu gets opened. My thought is ALWAYS, order more!! Best coffee I’ve ever had. As long as I can get it, I will. I just received my latest order and we cherish every sip of paradise!

    The Tarrazu is exquisite. We actually got to see a little bit of roasting while we were in Quepos, Costa Rica. I order it usually twice a year. Holidays are the best times for that coffee.
