House Blend Dark Roast is harvested from the mountains of Chirripó, Costa Rica's highest peak. The extreme altitude provides the ideal growing conditions for our selection of arabica beans. Warm, sunny days and cool nights slow the maturation process, allowing the coffee beans to develop their full potential when the fruit reaches peak ripeness.
Tasting Notes: Light, nutty fragrance, caramel aroma, spicy chocolate flavor, medium body, balanced acidity.

I have been ordering this blend for 10 years since my trip to Costa Rica where I first tasted it. I’ve given bags of it as gifts and get the same comment- this coffee is so good! It never tastes bitter. Hard to drink anything else!

Began purchasing the Dark Whole Roast beans in 1994 shortly after Cafe Milagro opened. Received my latest delivery last week. I drink many cups of black coffee daily and this is the best coffee bean I have found. Trust me...there is no better bean.
